That’s where North Expeditions began.
We’re Goonj and Gaurav — two IT professionals turned full-time wanderers. For years, we lived the “tech life” — coding, building systems, solving bugs. But something deeper kept calling. A kind of wild freedom, where valleys became home and every sunrise felt earned after a climb.
We left our corporate jobs not out of rebellion, but out of love — for the mountains, for stories shared around bonfires, and for the joy of helping others experience the same magic we felt.
The name North Expeditions came up one evening, almost casually — like a whisper from the hills. It stuck.
What began as small group treks to Uttarakhand slowly evolved. Families started joining us. Then solo travelers, honeymooners, students, working professionals, and soon… we were leading wellness retreats, road trips, cultural explorations, and journeys into Bhutan, Nepal, Northeast India, Kashmir, and beyond.
