Venture into one of India’s most secluded and soul-stirring regions — the mystical valleys of Arunachal Pradesh, where raw beauty, ancient tribes, and untamed landscapes come together to tell a story untouched by time.

Your journey begins in Dibrugarh, Assam’s tea capital, before crossing the mighty Brahmaputra to enter Roing, the gateway to the Dibang Valley. As you wind through misty roads and emerald forests, each turn unveils nature in its purest form.

From Roing to Anini, travel deep into the heart of the Upper Dibang Valley, one of the least explored corners of India, surrounded by snow-laden peaks and dense coniferous woods. Spend your days discovering the Emuli Grasslands and Dri Valley, where rolling meadows meet icy rivers, and time seems to stand still.

Visit Etalin, a serene Dibang settlement wrapped in legends and lush greenery, before journeying onward to Dong, the easternmost village of India — where you’ll witness the first sunrise of the country.

We had a wonderful 12 day trip covering Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh customized to our needs by North Expeditions. We were a party of vegetarian senior citizens new to this part of the country. Gaurav was extremely helpful and took care of our needs, interacted with us on a daily basis to take our feedback and give us helpful insights to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. Our stay was very comfortable in good hotels. We are looking forward to more trips with North Expeditions in future.

Arunachal Pradesh trip with North Expeditions and our experience was simply wonderful. They were very professional and in regular touch thru out the tour. The rates provided were much better than other tour operators for similar hotels. All the hotels and car driver were top notch. They helped me in good trip planning as well. Special special mention of Moushumi mam who helped from planning to stay and everything else and provided multiple options to fit different budget from economy to top premium. We would definitely book more trips with North Expeditions in future.
