Day 01: Arrival Srinagar + Srinagar Local Sight-Seeing N/S | Welcome to the Paradise on Earth

As you arrive at Srinagar International Airport, you will be greeted with the stunning views of the Himalayan mountains and the fresh, cool air of Kashmir. Take a moment to soak in the natural beauty. Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your baggage.

You will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel, Enroute you will cross by the carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar city. After checking in,Take time to rest, freshen up, and get accustomed to the serene surroundings.

You will be visiting the Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh Chashmeshahi, Shankaracharya Temple,Hazratbal Shrine,Tulip Garden(If Open). All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.

After an eventful day, retire to your comfortable accommodation for a restful night’s sleep, ready for more adventures in Kashmir in the days to come.

Day 02: Srinagar – Sonamarg -Srinagar | Walk around the Famed Golden Meadows

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, also known as “Gateway of Ladakh.” Cross the town of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Once you reach Sonamarg, which is also called the “Meadows of Gold” located at a height of 2692 mts, you may take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. While driving from Srinagar to Sonmarg, you can also enjoy the sightseeing of Sindh River on the way. After return, visit the small-town market.

 Day 03: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar N/S| Enjoy Asia’s Highest Cable Car Ride

After breakfast, proceed to drive to Gulmarg today, also called the “Meadow of Flowers”, located at 2730 mts. above the sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feet and dominates the entire region, & also enjoy a cable car ride (Gondola at your own cost) for a mountain ride up to Khilanmarg.

Enjoy the Shikara Ride in the Dal Lake.

Explore: If you are up for it, take a leisurely stroll around the local marketplaces and explore the unique handicrafts and traditional Kashmiri items, such as Pashmina shawls, local spices, and saffron.

Day 04: Srinagar to Pahalgam | A Journey to ABC Valleys

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and we drive to Pahalgam, called the “Valley of Shepherds) via Pampore, Avantipura (1100 years old temple of Lord Shiva built by King Awantivaram) and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. Enjoy a short excursion of Betaab Valley, Chandanwadi and river rafting in Aru Valley are some things to do in Pahalgam. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05: Pahalgam to Srinagar

Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you can continue your Pahalgam sightseeing tour.

You must get ready for an adventurous pony ride to Baisaran Valley. There are multiple things that will fascinate you in Valley. You can have fun with a pony ride its snow point (at your own cost), spend a memorable time with your family/friends, sit and rejuvenate yourself with the beauty around you.

Later Drive Back to Srinagar.

 Day 06: Drop at Srinagar Airport | Bid Farewell to the City of Lakes

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Zürich, Switzerland

We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.

Day 2Zürich–Biel/Bienne–Neuchâtel–Geneva

Enjoy an orientation walk of Zurich’s OLD TOWN, Switzerland’s center of banking and commerce. Then, leave Zurich and start your Swiss adventure. You’ll quickly discover that Switzerland isn’t just home to the Alps, but also to some of the most beautiful lakes. First, stop at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the picturesque town of Biel, known as Bienne by French-speaking Swiss, famous for watch-making, and explore the historical center. Next, enjoy a scenic drive to lakeside Neuchâtel, dominated by the medieval cathedral and castle. Time to stroll along the lake promenade before continuing to stunning Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, with its fantastic lakeside location and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps.

Day 3Enchanting Engelberg

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Day 4Interlaken Area. Excursion to The Jungfrau Massif

An unforgettable trip to the high Alpine wonderland of ice and snow is the true highlight of a visit to Switzerland. Globus Local Favorite At an amazing 11,332 feet, the JUNGFRAUJOCH is Europe’s highest railway station. Jungfrau’s 13,642-foot summit was first ascended in 1811 and in 1912 the rack railway was opened. There are lots of things to do here: enjoy the ALPINE SENSATION, THE PANORAMA 360° EXPERIENCE, and the ICE PALACE. Also receive your JUNGFRAU PASSPORT as a souvenir to take home with you. The round trip to the “Top of Europe” by MOUNTAIN TRAIN will take most of the day.

Day 5Lake Geneva and Château de Chillon

It’s market day in Lausanne! Enjoy browsing and packing a picnic lunch for our 11 a.m. boat cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore we’ll dock at Château de Chillon, where we’ll have a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On our way back we’ll take time to peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne. Boat: 2 hrs. Bus: 1 hr. Walking: moderate.
