Itinerary

Day 1Guwahati Airport/Railway Station to Shillong

On your arrival at the Guwahati Airport, our local representative will meet you & will provide a transfer to the hotel. Further, travel to Shillong. On the way, visit the stunning man-made reservoir, Umiam Lake (Borapani). In the evening, visit the famous Police Bazaar. Check-in to hotel.

Day 2Shillong – Dawki - Mawlynnong - Cherrapunjee

Begin your day with an early breakfast in Shillong and proceed towards Dawki, a hidden gem on the Indo-Bangladesh border. Take a magical boat ride over the crystal-clear Umngot River, where the boat appears to float on air. Enjoy views of Bangladesh from the Tamabil Viewpoint.
Next, head out on a scenic drive toward the cleanest village in Asia — Mawlynnong. Wander through its spotless lanes, bamboo dustbins, and blooming flower beds. Visit the famous Living Root Bridge here, a quiet marvel of bio-engineering by nature and the Khasi tribes.
Further, visit the Sky Walk/Viewpoint, which is 85 ft high eco-friendly ladder like structure that has been made entirely of bamboo poles tied to branches of trees using jute and bamboo ropes, is a square platform, from where one can get the bird’s eye view of Mawlynnong village and Bangladesh Plains., further visit the Natural Balancing Rock.
Post lunch, journey through winding roads and misty cliffs as you ascend to Cherrapunjee, the land of clouds and waterfalls. Soak in the serenity and settle in for a peaceful night amidst nature.

Day 3Cherrapunjee Local Sight-Seeing – Drive to Guwahati

Wake up to the gentle drizzle and cool breeze of Cherrapunjee. After breakfast, begin exploring its breathtaking wonders:
• Nohkalikai Falls – India’s tallest plunge waterfall, cascading dramatically into a turquoise pool.
• Seven Sisters Falls – A majestic sight, especially during monsoons, with seven streams gushing down side by side.
• Mawsmai Caves – Walk through fascinating limestone caves adorned with stalactites and stalagmites.
• Eco Park – Perfect for panoramic views of the Sylhet plains of Bangladesh.
• Make a stop at the Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall renowned for its striking beauty.
After a hearty lunch and final glimpses of the lush landscape, begin your return journey to Guwahati.

Day 4Departure

Early morning: Visit Kamakhya temple: considered to be one of the most sacred and oldest of the 51 Shakti Peetha in the world. Prepare to leave for airport/railway station.
