Day 1Arrival at Guwahati → Shillong

Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Shillong, stopping at the beautiful Umiam Lake for a photo break. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around Ward’s Lake and shop at Police Bazaar.

Day 2Mawphlang Sacred Forest & David Scott Trail

Explore the mystical Mawphlang Sacred Forest, steeped in ancient legends and rare biodiversity. Later, enjoy a short section of the historic David Scott Trail for panoramic valley views.

Day 3Shillong → Cherrapunjee via Laitlum Canyons

Start the day at Laitlum Canyons, the “Grand Canyon of the East.” Continue to Cherrapunjee, visiting Wei Sawdong Falls and Arwah Cave en route.

Day 4 Living Root Bridges & Rainbow Falls

Trek through lush forests to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat. Continue to the enchanting Rainbow Falls, known for its turquoise pool and cascading waters.

Day 5Cherrapunjee → Mawlynnong → Dawki → Shnongpdeng

Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and see its single living root bridge. Head to Dawki for crystal-clear boating on the Umngot River, then stay overnight in riverside camps at Shnongpdeng.

Day 6Jowai & Krang Suri Falls

Travel to Jowai to witness the turquoise beauty of Krang Suri Falls and the majestic Phe Phe Falls. Return to Shillong for your final night in the “Scotland of the East.

Day 7 Shillong → Guwahati Departure
