Absolutely loved the Meghalaya tour package conducted for us (9 family members including 2 senior citizens and 3 kids for 5 Nights and 6 days) by North Expeditions. Garden of caves was surprisingly refreshing to our senses. Markham was a breath of fresh air and worth the trip, Mawsmai cave was exhilarating. The Dawki boat rides and the Umiam lake ride made us forget our worries. Dancing with the locals over a khasi song and thanking our jawans filled us with gratitude. The choice of hotels was very good esp. Kenn and Twill at Shillong. The food there was simple, tasty and homely. Our every simple needs were taken care of. No one had a tummy upset. The other two places viz. Pyrkin’s Inn at Cherrapunji and Betelnut at Dawki were also comfortable with required amenities. Our family unanimously appreciated the arrangements made for this trip. We had a knowledgeable and helpful driver in Pinku whose recommendations on how to go about the itinerary ensured that we visited the right place at the right time. We had booked a 5 nights 6 days trip to Meghalaya n Gauhati in October 2025. The trip was very well organized, good hotels, pick-up from airport by a clean car n well mannered driver who was with us throughout our trip. The trip was organized by Mousumi Mondal,who is very efficient, polite n courteous, knows her job n she was following up with us on a daily basis when we were traveling. We were 4 ladies traveling,but felt very safe . Thank you Mousumi for this well organized trip. We carried home lovely memories of North East India.🙏👍”
